Robert Nichols, the principal, is an architectural designer/planner/urban designer with over 30 years experience in the public and private sectors. Nichols Design Associates has become an expert in Architectural Design, ADA Accessibility and Universal Design. His expertise within this area of specialty includes building surveys and the design of barrier-free environments for major government, commercial, institutional and residential clients.
I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to work with the architect Robert Nichols on his design award-winning residence. The contemporary style and design of the house in Takoma Park, Maryland provides an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable living space. It was a truly inspirational and eye-opening experience which taught me much about the methods and materials he used in this innovative masterpiece.
